What Forms of Payment do you accept?
I accept payment through Paypal, which is due at the time of purchase. The Paypal site is secure and encrypted. You do not need to be a Paypal member to pay for any purchase on this website. If you prefer to pay by credit card, you may also do this on the Paypal website without divulging your credit card information to me.
I will also accept personal checks and United States Postal Money Orders. Just email me prior to purchase to make those arrangements.
Indiana residents will be charged 7% sales tax automatically when your order is placed.
Returns
I want your shopping experience at Casual Cottage to be a pleasant one. I try to describe my items with as much detail as possible. Please ask questions prior to purchase and I will be happy to provide additional pictures, if requested.
I will accept returns within 10 days, if an item has been incorrectly described or is defective. Please email me prior to returning for a Return Authorization number. Item must be packaged in the original box and packing material. Return postage is to be paid by the customer. If it is determined that the item is defective or was misrepresented, I will return the original shipping charges and refund the purchase price in total.
Shipping
Shipping rates quoted are for the Continental US only ~ All others, including Alaska, Hawaii and Canada, will be reinvoiced to your credit card for the additional shipping, prior to shipment. I don't make money on shipping. I charge exactly what it costs me to ship your item and always look for the most economical way to ship. Please feel free to email me for a quote on shipping.
I ship USPS First Class mail or Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. Insurance is required on all items of a fragile nature. I will gladly combine shipping on multiple purchases, when possible. Due to the recent changes in postal rates and specifications, combined shipping may not always be to your best interest. I will combine shipping only when I can save you money. I am very careful and package everything with great care, but anything fragile in nature will require insurance. I make every effort to ship your order within two business days of purchase. If, for some reason, there will be a delay, I will contact you immediately.
Layaway
Layaway is available on orders over $50. I require 1/3 to 1/2 down and the balance must be paid within 6 weeks. Layaway deposits are not refundable. If you have questions regarding layaway, please use the Contact Me form. I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
How Do I Care for My Purchases
On all of my bags, please dry clean or spot clean. Although, they will hold up in the washer, they may lose some of their shape, so I do not recommend the washer. If you prefer to wash, use the gentle cycle (or hand wash) and lay your bag out flat to dry and then touch up with a warm iron.
Do You Take Custom Orders
I am happy to do custom orders, whenever possible. Pricing is slightly higher than that of a ready made item and subject to the availability of your fabric choice. Please allow 1-2 weeks for all custom orders. Just use the Contact Form and we can chat about it.
